Humanística, Revista de estudios críticos y literarios (Journal of Crtical and Literary Studies) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published biannually aimed at academics, researchers, and those interested in the study of the literatures and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. 

 

Humanística is permanently open for submissions to collaborate in its upcoming issues with research articles, critical review articles, scholarly reviews, dossiers or special numbers. 

 

We invite original, unpublished article submissions, as well as reviews, written in Spanish or English, on the literatures and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches to literary phenomena, studies related to the production, circulation and reception of texts, new critical approaches, poetics in constant movement and narratives without a fixed residence. We also welcome research on other forms of cultural production that engage with or reveal aspects of the larger context in which the literature of the Spanish-speaking world occurs.

Humanística. Revista de estudios críticos y literarios invites researchers, academics, and scholars working in the fields of Hispanic literature and culture to submit original, unpublished contributions for consideration in forthcoming issues.

Humanística. Revista de estudios críticos y literarios is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal, ISSN 2992-7005, published semiannually and intended for researchers, academics, and scholars of Hispanic literature and culture.

We welcome submissions that contribute to scholarly dialogue, critical inquiry, and new perspectives in literary and cultural studies. Manuscripts may be submitted in Spanish or English.

The journal is particularly interested in submissions addressing the following areas:

  • Hispanic literature and culture.
  • The production, circulation, and reception of texts.
  • Literary theory and criticism.
  • Interdisciplinary approaches to literary phenomena.
  • Contemporary and innovative critical approaches.
  • Evolving poetics and transnational narratives.
  • Relationships between literature and other forms of cultural production.
  • Historical, social, political, and cultural contexts associated with literary production.

Humanística. Revista de estudios críticos y literarios is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published semiannually. Its editorial practices follow the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All content published in the electronic edition is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
